# Privacy Policy
## OVERVIEW
This Privacy Policy explains how EPRIA SARL ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit trynala.com (the "Site"), when you buy something from us, or when you communicate with us in any other way.
By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site.
Our store runs on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform allowing us to sell our products to you. Shopify stores your data on its secure servers behind a firewall.
## SECTION 1 — WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect two kinds of information: information about the device you browse with, and information you give us when you place an order.
**Device information.** When you visit the Site, we automatically collect information about the device you use — your web browser, your IP address, your time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we also collect information about the individual pages or products you look at, the websites or search terms that referred you to us, and how you interact with the Site.
**Order information.** When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase, we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address and phone number if you provide one. We refer to this as your Order Information.
**Payment details.** We never see or store your full card number. Card details are captured and processed directly by our payment provider through Shopify's secure checkout.
Throughout this policy, "personal information" means both your Device Information and your Order Information.
## SECTION 2 — HOW WE COLLECT IT
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
**Cookies.** Small data files placed on your device that carry an anonymous unique identifier. You can find out more about cookies, and how to disable them, at http://www.allaboutcookies.org
**Log files.** These track actions occurring on the Site and record data including your IP address, your browser type, your internet service provider, your referring and exit pages, and date and time stamps.
**Web beacons, tags and pixels.** Electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
**Session recording.** We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the Site. Clarity records page views, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and can replay a session as an anonymised recording. It also produces heatmaps showing which parts of a page attract attention. This tool is configured to mask the content of form fields, so what you type into a form is not captured. We use it to fix usability problems and improve the Site, never to identify you personally. Microsoft's own privacy statement is available at https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement
**Advertising pixel.** We use the Meta Pixel, which records the pages you view and the actions you take on the Site — such as adding a product to your cart or completing a purchase — and reports them to Meta. This is how we measure whether our advertising works and how we show relevant ads to people who have visited the Site.
## SECTION 3 — HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your **Order Information** to:
- fulfil the orders you place — process your payment, arrange shipping, and send you order confirmations and invoices
- communicate with you about your order
- screen orders for potential risk or fraud
- send you information or advertising about our products, in line with the preferences you have shared with us
We use your **Device Information** to:
- screen for potential risk and fraud, in particular by checking your IP address
- understand how visitors browse and interact with the Site, so we can improve it
- measure the performance of our marketing and advertising campaigns
## SECTION 4 — SHARING YOUR INFORMATION
We share your personal information with third parties only to the extent needed to run the store. Specifically:
**Shopify.** Our e-commerce platform. Shopify hosts our online store and processes orders on our behalf. Their privacy policy is available at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy
**Payment providers.** Card and payment data is handled directly by our payment provider through Shopify's checkout, so it can be authorised and settled.
**Shipping carriers.** We pass your name, shipping address and contact details to USPS, UPS or DHL so your parcel can be delivered.
**Meta Platforms.** Data collected through the Meta Pixel is shared with Meta so we can measure and target our advertising. Meta's data policy is available at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
**Microsoft.** Session and heatmap data collected by Microsoft Clarity is processed by Microsoft. Their privacy statement is available at https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement
**Legal requirements.** We may also share your personal information to comply with applicable law or regulation, to respond to a subpoena, a search warrant or any other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
## SECTION 5 — BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING
We use the information described above to show you advertising we believe may interest you, and to measure how that advertising performs.
You can opt out of targeted advertising as follows:
- **Meta (Facebook and Instagram):** https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads
- **Google:** https://www.google.com/settings/ads/anonymous
- **Bing:** https://advertise.bingads.microsoft.com/en-us/resources/policies/personalized-ads
You can also opt out of some of this advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out portal at http://optout.aboutads.info
Opting out stops the personalisation of ads. It does not stop you seeing ads altogether.
## SECTION 6 — DO NOT TRACK
Please note that we do not alter our Site's data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
## SECTION 7 — YOUR RIGHTS
**If you are a resident of California.** Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request that we delete it, and to request that we correct it. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for money. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at support@trynala.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by law and we may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.
**Everyone else.** Because EPRIA SARL is established in France, our processing of personal information is also governed by the European General Data Protection Regulation, wherever you live. This means you can ask us to access, correct, update or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can object to us processing it. To make any of these requests, write to us at support@trynala.com.
**Data transfers.** We are established in France, but your personal information is processed on servers located in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. When your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, that transfer is covered by the safeguards our providers put in place, including the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
## SECTION 8 — DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we keep your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it, so that we can honour returns, handle warranty questions and meet our accounting and tax obligations.
Device Information collected for analytics and advertising is kept for the retention period applied by the tool concerned, and is deleted or anonymised at the end of that period.
## SECTION 9 — MINORS
The Site is not intended for anyone under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, write to us at support@trynala.com and we will delete it.
## SECTION 10 — DATA SECURITY
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Our checkout runs over an encrypted connection, and card data never transits through our own systems.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
## SECTION 11 — CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The current version is always available on this page, and your continued use of the Site after any change is posted constitutes acceptance of that change.
## SECTION 12 — CONTACT INFORMATION
